Within 90 days, you will receive a thank you letter confirming your donation for tax purposes. If you donate online, the PayPal email confirmation is the acknowledgement letter for your tax purposes.

Q: Is a donation to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. tax deductible?

Yes, we are a registered 501 (c) 3 charity.

Q: Can I donate my airline miles?

No. We charter aircraft for our trips.

Q: When will I get a receipt acknowledging my donation?

If you donate online, PayPal will instantly generate an on screen confirmation receipt page and then PayPal will send an email receipt later that same day. If you donate by check, a letter from Stars and Stripes Honor Flight acknowledging your donation will be sent within three months.

Q: Is the $500 guardian fee tax deductible?

Yes it is. However, we always recommend to consult with your own tax advisor.
